Description We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for a Cash Application Specialist in the Service industry, located in Cincinnati, Ohio, United States. This role is essential to our team as it involves processing customer applications, maintaining customer records, and resolving customer inquiries. It also requires close monitoring of customer accounts and taking appropriate actions. Responsibilities: • Handle the daily operations related to cash processing and remittance application using SAP and Ariba systems • Ensure accurate and timely posting of all incoming payments to the relevant accounts • Identify and resolve any discrepancies found during cash posting activities • Comply with financial standards, regulations, and guidelines on cash processing activities • Utilize accounting software systems such SAP to manage cash activity and applications • Leverage Microsoft Excel skills to effectively manage and report on account reconciliations • Maintain excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively handle customer inquiries • Apply strong problem-solving skills to make informed decisions based on data analysis • Demonstrate independent work ethic with a strong customer service focus while working within a team environment.
