Description About the Role: We are seeking a Cash Application Specialist with experience in Accounts Receivable (AR) to join our growing team in the Twin Cities area. This role plays a critical part in ensuring accurate and timely posting of cash receipts to customer accounts. The ideal candidate will have experience in AR processes, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Requirements Key Responsibilities: + Post cash payments and deposits to customer accounts. + Reconcile cash receipts to bank statements and AR reports. + Process payments from various sources, including checks, ACH, wire transfers, and credit cards. + Investigate and resolve discrepancies related to cash posting. + Coordinate with internal teams and customers to ensure accurate payment application. + Assist in month-end closing processes and reporting. + Maintain accurate records and documentation of cash transactions. + Support accounts receivable team with other duties as assigned. Qualifications: + 2+ years of experience in accounts receivable, cash posting, or similar responsibilties in previous roles. + Strong knowledge of AR principles and cash posting procedures. + Proficient in Microsoft Excel and experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite). + Excellent attention to detail and accuracy. + Ability to work independently and as part of a team. + Strong communication skills and the ability to handle customer inquiries professionally. + High school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s degree or higher preferred.
