Description We are seeking a Cash Application Specialist to manage high-volume cash posting and reconciliation processes. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with a background in accounting or finance who is looking to grow in a fast-paced, high-transaction environment. Key Responsibilities: + Daily Cash Posting: Download payment information and apply payments into ERP system for transactions ranging from $900K to $1M daily + Bank Reconciliation: Match incoming payments with open invoices and resolve discrepancies + Exception Handling: Investigate unapplied cash, missing remittance details, and payment variances + Automation & Process Optimization: Assist in enhancing and troubleshooting automated cash application workflows + Customer Account Management: Maintain accurate customer ledgers and ensure proper allocation of funds + Reporting & Documentation: Generate and maintain daily reports on cash application status and reconciliation efforts + Cross-Department Collaboration: Work closely with Accounts Receivable, Finance, and Customer Service teams to resolve payment issues Requirements Qualifications: + Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (Entry-level candidates welcome) + Basic Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, and formulas a plus) + Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities + Ability to handle high-volume transactions with accuracy and efficiency + Vendor Pass required (East Coast) Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
