Description Robert Half is sourcing for a Cash Application Specialist for a long-term engagement in the Wilton, CT area. The Cash Application Specialist plays an essential role in financial operations, particularly in the manufacturing industry. This role ensures the accuracy and timeliness of applying customer payments, reducing discrepancies, and maintaining up-to-date records essential for financial reporting. A strong candidate will have proficiency in accounts receivable procedures, cash application software, and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems like Oracle. Responsibilities • Review customer remittances and apply payments using cash application tool and Oracle • Organize and carry out cash application and deductions processes following departmental procedures • Generate and apply credit memos as necessary • Establish deductions within the Oracle system • Monitor and manage customer accounts, resolving inquiries as required • Ensure the efficient processing of customer credit applications • Maintain precise records of customer credit activity.
