Description Position Overview: We are looking for an entry-level Cash Applications Specialist to join our finance team on a contract basis. This position offers an excellent opportunity for someone with basic experience or an interest in Accounts Receivable (AR) or Cash Applications to develop their skills. The role will begin with onsite training in Minnetonka, MN, and transition to remote work after successful completion of the training. Requirements Key Responsibilities: + Assist in processing incoming cash payments, including checks, credit cards, and ACH transfers. + Help ensure that payments are accurately applied to customer accounts. + Support the team in resolving payment discrepancies and addressing customer billing inquiries. + Collaborate with the AR team during month-end processes and assist with account reconciliation. + Maintain accurate customer records and assist with follow-up on overdue accounts. + Perform general administrative tasks to support the finance team. Requirements: + No prior experience required, but an interest in Accounts Receivable (AR) or Cash Applications is preferred. + Strong attention to detail and eagerness to learn. + Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel (ability to work with spreadsheets). + Good communication skills and ability to work in a team environment. + Positive attitude and willingness to take on new challenges.
