Responsibilities

About the role 

 

Hybrid | Full-time

 

Ensure the Accurate and Timely posting of payments, maintaining a minimum level of unapplied payments.

Accurately post customer payments to the accounting system in a timely mannerInvestigate and resolve discrepancies related to cash application and client accounts by proactively communicating with the Operations and Accounting teams.Communicate with clients to clarify payment details and obtain necessary information.Monitor and review unapplied cash balances.Generate and maintain reports of cash application activity and unapplied and unidentified cash.Process recurring credit card payments.Assist in the month-end close processes, including account reconciliations and reporting Qualifications

About you

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field preferred; or equivalent experience.3 years + proven experience in cash applications Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Oracle, SAP) and Microsoft ExcelExperience and knowledge of full order to cash process.Strong attention to detail, with analytical, critical thinking and follow up.Must enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and thrive under pressure. Customer-centric mindset with effective communication skills (verbal and written) The ability to quickly navigate several systems and spreadsheets in parallel.Strong organizational and time management skills.The ability to build and foster relationships across the organization.

Physical Demands

Hybrid work environmentAbility to sit for up to 8 hours per day, work in a standard office setting, and use standard office equipment, including a computer and a telephone.
