Cash Controlling Manager (Hybrid)

Position Summary: The role of the Cash Controlling Manager is to manage the reporting and consolidation of the cash across the Division, while ensuring accuracy and consistency of the data presented to Division Management and BG.

Responsibilities:

Provide reliable financial/controlling information towards the management:Maintain and distribute daily/weekly cash tracking report out of current overdue and cash position versus forecast.Coordinates cash flow forecast construction and tracking of action plans with CBU/Operations/Purchasing/SSCPopulate the monthly Divisional forecasts, providing the analysis vs Actuals vs Budgets and preparing inputs for the monthly performance reviews.Collaborate with treasury, BG and Group teams to improve processes, results and accuracyCollaborate with Accounts Receivables and Program and Sales teams for the latest overdue status and customer collections.Collaborate with Purchasing, Treasury, and Accounts Payable on payment run proposals and optimal cash strategies with suppliers.Liaison with Manufacturing regularly to follow CAPEX, IFRS16 and Inventory targets.Perform ad hoc analysis and simulations to the VP of Finance or BG as needed.Lead in Cash budget and Strategic Plan creation and implementation of action plansAct as a business partner toward the management of the Division, and provide recommendation to the management:Offer strategies and suggestions for cash optimization.Follow up on execution and updates of action plans and their financial impacts, alert and arbitrate in case of discrepancies.Provide constant support, training and improvement ideas to the community to ensure financial awareness.Propose continuous improvement ideas in business efficiency and cost reductionCapitalizes on knowledge and shares best practices / lessons learned across organization and within the site

Position Specifications

 

Knowledge / Skills:Understanding of financials (working capital variations, EBITDA, AR AP, IFRS rules, etc)Strong ERP (SAP is a plus )and reporting tools knowledgeAbility to manage uncertainty and resist to stakeholder pressureAbility to challenge status quo and implement effective changes to improve performanceProactivity and leadership in driving cash/finance activitiesAdvanced analytical and problem-solving skillsBusiness minded and strong teamwork skillsClear and effective communication skillsFluent in English required

 

Education / Experience:

Bachelor’s in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related discipline5 to 10 years of professional experience, including any cash controlling or reporting responsibilityAutomotive industry preferred3+ years of manufacturing experienceCash flow management, forecasting and reporting experience
