Cash Management Intern

As a Cash Management Intern, your main focus will be accurately and promptly applying money to client accounts and recording transactions in the general ledger for the entities you're responsible for. You'll ensure compliance with policies and procedures and collaborate effectively within the department to gather necessary information for accurate processing. Day-to-day tasks include managing assigned entities, interacting with different departments, and assisting with audits. Additionally, you'll participate in various projects related to reconciliation and process enhancement.

Responsibilities Applying payments accurately based on customer remittance advice or bank statements. Recording bank transactions in the general ledger, including Accounts Payable, taxes, and money transfers. Identifying and resolving any unapplied or unidentified cash. Reconciling assigned accounts promptly and addressing any discrepancies. Maintaining an organized statement archive. Your team

You will be part of a small, cohesive team of dedicated and driven Cash Application professionals from different nationalities. We have created a very informal and supportive environment where we communicate openly and honestly and value each other's input.   Qualifications - External Requirements Currently enrolled in a Bachelor or Master program in Economics/Finance/Accounting or related field at a Dutch university for the duration of the internship. Available to start immediately. Fluent in English, both written and verbal. Desired understanding of account reconciliations. Proficient in Excel. Exhibits a flexible, innovative, and enthusiastic attitude. Demonstrates strong interpersonal skills. Capable of analyzing and interpreting information.
