Cash & Trade Proc Intermediate Analyst - C11 - PORT OF SPAIN
The Cash & Trade Proc Intmd Analyst is an intermediate level role responsible for ensuring transactions are processed accurately and on time in coordination with the Transaction Services team. The overall objective is to research, conduct analyses, and resolve issues. Responsibilities: Responsible for driving end to end delivery, continuity of activities, services and processes for a portfolio under payments, receivables, trade transactions, liquidity flows, clearings, cash transactions; this includes the processing of transactions Lead Operations execution for project portfolio end to end Drive process improvement opportunities and end to end process reviews Create customized transaction services reports based on data analysis Monitor and research errors to ensure adherence to audit and control policies Resolve transaction services issues and use technical expertise/ judgment to conduct complex analysis Anticipate and respond to requests for transaction deliverables from internal and external clients and vendors Develop and recommend strategic decisions based off in-depth comprehension of how the operations team interacts with others business unites in accomplishing objectives Assist with providing informal guidance or on-the-job-training to new team members as required Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency. Additional duties assigned as Operations requires. Ability to operate with a limited level of direct supervision. Ability to work after hours and weekends to support technical changes, Continuity of Business testing as needed Qualifications: 2-5 years of experience in a related role within trade / cash / payments and receivables operations management Effective verbal and written skills Effective communication and analytical skills Effective relationship management skills Ability to work under pressure and manage to deadlines Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Intermediate to Advanced level proficiency in MS Excel and MS Office Suite Ability to manipulate data and perform analysis using tools such as MS Excel, Tableau etc Flexible - Continuity of Business, system matters, upgrades etc may require after hours, weekends Strong knowledge of systems and processes as well as mapping end to end processes Education: Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience Project Management / Process Management will be an asset This job description provides a high-level review of the types of work performed.
