THE VENUE
Legends Hospitality is proud to partner with Circle Line Cruises, New York’s oldest provider of chartered sightseeing cruises, in delivering a premium hospitality experience to guests. In addition to daily cruises on six sailing vessels throughout the city, Circle Line hosts various special event cruises including a New Year’s Eve and Fourth of July celebration in addition to charters for private parties and events.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide quick, efficient, accurate and friendly service to all guests. Guest satisfaction is our Number 1 Priority! Carefully listen to guests food & beverage orders and record transactions in POS. Collect payment and make correct change for all sales. Prepare simple menu items following all NYC Department of Health guidelines Perform closing duties including cleaning up, product storage, and trash removal from assigned locations. Maintain a clean, neat and safe work area. Complete side work such as restocking and sanitizing, leaving work areas in good condition for the following shifts Verify I.D. on all customers ordering alcohol. Suggestively sell and up sell items. Interact with co-workers, supervisors, and managers in order to ensure compliance with company service standards, company inventory and cash control procedures. Ability to perform arithmetic operation involving all United States monetary units (add, subtract, multiply and divide). Complete other duties assigned by supervisors/ managersQUALIFICATIONS
All applicants must be at least 18 years of age High school diploma or equivalent At least one (1) year cashier experience experience in a high-volume facility preferred. Strong attention to detail and extremely organized with elevated time management and prioritizing skills Must meet state and city health requirements for food handling and alcoholic beverage service Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, team-orientated setting Must be able to effectively communicate with management and staff Ability to work in an open-air environment during all climate conditions and/or on a moving vessel Ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 30 pounds up and down stairs/ramps/gangways Must be flexible to work extended hours due to business requirements including late nights, weekends, and holidays Must have sufficient mobility to perform assigned production tasks including constant reaching, bending, stooping, wiping, pushing, and pulling for extended periods of time Practice safe work habits, follow all safety policies, procedures, and regulations, complete company-wide safety training and additional job specific safety training.Compensation:
$16.50/Hourly
