As aCashier/Cajero(a)at Villa Restaurant Group's quick-service restaurant, you will be the front-line representative, responsible for processing Guest orders, handling payments, and providing Exceptional Guest Service. Your efficiency and friendly demeanor will contribute to a positive dining experience for our Guests.
Key Responsibilities/ Responsabilidades:
+ Order Processing:Accurately input Guest orders into the point-of-sale (POS) system, ensuring correct menu items, modifications, and pricing.
+ Payment Handling:Process cash, credit card, and mobile payments accurately and efficiently. Provide correct change and receipts as needed.
+ Menu Knowledge:Familiarize yourself with the restaurant's menu items, specials, and any allergen information to assist Guests with their orders.
+ Guest Service:Provide Exceptional Guest Service by greeting Guests, answering questions, and addressing any concerns or special requests.
+ Upselling:Suggest additional items or upsell promotions to enhance the Guest's order.
+ Order Packaging:Ensure that orders are packaged accurately and neatly, ready for pickup by Guests or delivery.
+ Cash Register Management:Maintain the cash register, count cash drawer at the beginning and end of each shift, and report any discrepancies.
+ Cleanliness:Keep the cashier station and dining area clean and organized, including disposing of trash and cleaning surfaces as needed.
+ Order Queue Management:Monitor and manage the order queue, ensuring that orders are prepared and served promptly.
+ Assist in Food Delivery:Assist in delivering orders to Guests or coordinating with runners for order delivery.
What You’ll Need/ Que Nececitaras:
+ Previous experience as a cashier in a restaurant or customer service setting is preferred but not required.
+ Strong numerical skills and the ability to handle cash transactions accurately.
+ Exceptional Guest Service and communication skills, with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
+ Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude.
+ Familiarity with point-of-sale (POS) systems and cash register operation is a plus.
+ Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
+ Bilingual is a plus
Physical Requirements:
+ Standing for extended periods.
+ Operating a cash register and handling currency.
+ Bending, stooping, and reaching.
