The Cashier is responsible for accurately managing transactions, handling cash, and ensuring inventory control at the assigned concession stand. Please note, this position is covered by a collective bargaining agreement with Unite Here Local 11, and union membership is a condition of employment. Key Duties and Responsibilities: + Accurately account for cash and inventory at the assigned concession stand. + Perform worker assignments and plan for daily sales flow, including peak hour sales. + Verify proper item pricing and stock products upon delivery. + Maintain clean, safe working conditions, and sanitary work areas. + Organize and complete required paperwork such as physical inventory stand sheets, meal sheets, spoilage reports, and cash slips. + Monitor meal voucher usage and ensure proper meal recording for employees. + Adhere to all cash handling and Food & Beverage regulations. + Work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed. Qualifications: + Education: High School Diploma. + Experience: Must have basic working knowledge of cash register and cash handling procedures. + Skills: + Strong math skills for accurate money handling. + Knowledge of concession/cafeteria operations. + Positive customer service attitude and professional demeanor. + Ability to follow directions and complete tasks efficiently. + Ability to perform tasks in a fast-paced environment. + Strong attention to detail. Physical Demands: + Must be able to stand for long periods during events and lift up to 25 lbs to the waist. + Ability to move around the facility and work inside/outside as required for events. + Regular exposure to loud sounds at events. Other Requirements: + Must have a California Food Handler Card. + Must be able to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays.
