Casino Business Analyst - Hybrid

We’re looking for an amazing Casino Business Analyst to fill this hybrid role which is based out of our Miami, FL office. In this critical role you’ll play a key role in analysing guest behaviour, financial trends, and operational performance to support strategic decisions and uncover growth opportunities. By providing actionable insights and working closely with stakeholders, this position ensures that all efforts align with the company’s goals of profitability, guest satisfaction, and process improvement. Additionally, the role serves as a critical link between analytics and strategy, helping to shape the future of the Casino and High On-Board Spenders (HOBS) business. Here’s a summary of what Holland America Line is looking for in its Casino Business Analyst. Is this you? **Responsibilities** + Track and analyze revenue and costs for all Casino and HOBS guests across Holland America Line ships, uncovering data-driven insights to enhance the guest experience, drive revenue growth, and optimize operational costs. + Conduct ad hoc analyses on a variety of topics, including product performance, business operations, guest demographics, and more, to support data-driven decision-making. + Develop streamlined tools that optimize and automate our reporting processes to shipboard and shoreside stakeholders. + Produce multiple reports and dashboards on a weekly and monthly basis for use by Senior Leadership team. + Partner with IT and data warehouse teams to validate data and maintain data integrity. + Work closely with the Finance team to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting. + Aid all P&L optimization by using a data-driven mindset. **Requirements** + Bachelors Degree in Business Administration, Economics, Computer Science, or related data analytic field. + Prior experience working in an analytical role within an office environment. Experience in the cruise or hospitality industry preferred. + Intermediate to advanced knowledge of MS Power Point, Power BI and Excel. + Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. + Ability to understand and analyze data and provide insightful reporting. + Excellent interpersonal skills and communication skills (verbal and written) with the public, all levels of employees, and management. + Individual who is highly motivated, takes initiative, and is self-driven. + Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multi-tasking and work under pressure to meet deadlines. + Ability to prioritize and focus on outcomes that drive action plans. + Ability to create professional reports and presentations. + Familiarity with cruise industry operations advantageous. + Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
