THE JOB:

The primary responsibility of the Cage Cashier is to manage and process monetary transactions and exchanges with guests. This includes handling cash, checks, and chips accurately while delivering excellent customer service and creating WOW moments that keep guests coming back.

THE STARTING PAY RATE: $18.00 per hour

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

Transaction Processing: Perform frontline transactions, including chip bank, poker, cage credit, and employee bank/window transactions.

Marker/IOU and High Limit Cage Functions: Manage operations in the marker/IOU bank and High Limit cage; provide service for patron Kiosk/TRU units and employee Recycler/JetSafe units.

Check Cashing & Redemption: Cash all types of checks for patrons according to guidelines; redeem chips, tokens, TITO (ticket in/ticket out) tickets, and Race and Sports tickets.

Marker & Front Money Transactions: Conduct Marker and Front Money transactions for patron accounts.

Foreign Currency Exchange: Redeem all acceptable types of foreign currencies.

Transaction Security & Documentation: Secure and document all recordable transactions involving company assets, including Title 31 compliance for large transactions.

Transaction Logs: Complete electronic multiple transaction logs accurately and manually when necessary.

Patron Assistance: Assist patrons with general information and inquiries upon request.

Safety Deposit Box Management: Issue or surrender safety deposit boxes as required.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

Work Schedule: Availability to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Education: High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.

Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience in high-volume cash handling.

Relevant Experience: Previous experience in a high-volume cash handling role within a casino or banking environment.

Attention to Detail: Strong ability to maintain accuracy and attention to detail while handling large sums of money.

Customer Service Skills: Excellent interpersonal skills with a proven track record of delivering exceptional customer service.

Problem-Solving Abilities: Demonstrated ability to handle complex transactions and resolve issues effectively.

Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with electronic transaction systems and cash handling equipment.
