ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

Cleans all casino areas, including sweeping, picking up trash, vacuuming carpets and wiping surfaces.  Cleans restrooms, including scrubbing toilets, sinks, sweeping and mopping floors. Deep cleaning of slot machines and stools and wiping surfaces.  Able to use and operate vacuum cleaners, floor cleaning equipment, dustpans and brooms.   Vacuums carpet, sweeps and mops tile floors, cleans any spills that occur. Cleans any bio hazardous materials when it occurs. Removes trash from the trash container and places into the dumpsters.

QUALIFICATIONS:

High School Diploma or equivalent required.  Ability to uphold and demonstrate the highest level of integrity in all situations and recognize standards required by a regulated business.  Must be 18 years of age.  Must be able to obtain Missouri Gaming License.  Must be able to work any day of the week and any shift, including holidays and weekends. Must present a well-groomed appearance. Previous janitorial experience preferred.  Knowledge of chemicals, shampoos, strippers and wax preferred.  

WORK ENVIRONMENT REQUIREMENTS: 

Must be able to work independently along with a team mentality.  Must be able to bend, twist, turn, push and pull, as well as lift and carry above/below the shoulders a minimum of 25 lbs or more.  Must be able to stand for prolonged periods of time or entire shift.  Must be able to work at a fast pace and in stressful situations.  Is able to tolerate areas containing second-hand smoke, high noise levels, bright lights and dust. Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English.  Must be able to maneuver around office areas, effectively work in high traffic areas and responds to visual and aural cues. Ability to work at heights up to 40 feet. Ability to push, pull, lift up to 50lbs and pull or push carts up to 200lbs.
