The VIP Ambassador is responsible for coordinating hotel reservation check-ins and activities and ensuring the highest level of customer service for VIP guests. This role involves creating, assigning and processing reservations, issuing player cards and comps, and assisting with casino and property marketing operations. The VIP Ambassador is expected to develop guest loyalty and promote property events and promotions while maintaining strict confidentiality and adhering to all company policies and gaming regulations.
Key Responsibilities: Guest Relations (Hotel & VIP Lounge):- Welcome guests with exceptional hospitality and provide superior customer service.
- Encourage guest enrollment in the player card program to drive brand loyalty.
- Meet and greet guests, maintaining the highest levels of courtesy, friendliness, and professionalism.
- Develop guest play levels with the goal of assigning an Executive Host.
- Process incoming and outgoing hotel reservations accurately.
- Maintain up-to-date records of room occupancy and guest profiles.
- Issue player cards, comps, and tickets to events as required.
- Assist with casino promotions and marketing events, both on and off property.
- Collaborate with other departments and external vendors/partners to ensure seamless guest experiences.
- Assist in daily casino and property marketing operations as assigned by marketing leadership.
- Promote Isle Casino Hotel Bettendorf promotions and events.
- Make sound complimentary decisions based on customer play levels.
- Resolve guest concerns promptly and professionally, ensuring a positive outcome.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficient with office equipment and multi-line phone systems.
- Ability to perform under pressure in a fast-paced, interruptive environment.
- Knowledge of social media platforms and basic marketing strategies.
- Exceptional interpersonal, communication, team-building, and problem-solving skills.
EDUCATIONS and/or EXPERIENCE:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required; college degree preferred.
- At least 21 years of age.
- Minimum of two (2) years of guest services & hotel experience preferred.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid state gaming license.
- Willingness to adhere to all Iowa gaming regulations and guidelines.
- Ability to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Must be able to work extended hours during special events.
- Ability to stand for long periods of time.
- Frequent pushing, pulling, bending, and walking.
- Exposure to a smoking environment, moderate noise, and bright lights.
