Casino Shift Manager
Overview The Casino Shift Manager oversees the shift operations of the casino and all departments in the absence of or in concurrence with department heads. Responsibilities Ensure the safety and security of employees and customers, manages processes and programs to effectively control and reduces loss time injuries. Responsible for overseeing daily operations of the table games. Review staffing levels, delegate authority and assign responsibilities. Development of staff, interviews, hires, and evaluates. Delegate duties and assign responsibilities. Review and manage departments’ financial data. Review table game activities and promotional status with Director of Casino Operations. Monitor and adjust performance to local competition. Meet with departmental directors and managers as necessary. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications Seven to ten years’ experience in Table Games operations as a floor supervisor or pit manager, or 4-year degree in a related field with equivalent work experience or a combination of education and work experience. Valid gaming license and/or Alcohol Beverage Control card. Ability to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends and holidays is required. Ability to deliver a service level which creates an atmosphere that makes our guests want to return, giving each guest a positive, memorable experience. Commitment to routinely go above and beyond in the accomplishment of position responsibilities in an effort to play a role in the achievement of organizational goals. Must present an image of excitement and enthusiasm, while being able to project a professional appearance and demeanor. Excellent interpersonal, organizational and communication skills.
