Casual Clinical Associate Position - Allergy and Clinical Immunology

The Johns Hopkins University Division of Allergy and Clinical Immunology is seeking a non-faculty physician who will, under the supervision of the Director of the Division of Allergy and Clinical Immunology, administer medical care to patients in the outpatient setting. This position will be hourly for 4 hours per week, or 0.125 FTE, to direct clinical care in underserved areas of the Baltimore Metropolitan Region.
Work requires the analytical skills to collect information from diverse sources, apply professional principles in performing various analyses, and summarize the information and date in order to solve problems or design relatively complex systems and programs that cross departmental/division lines
Work requires the ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing and provide empathy in difficult interpersonal situations.
Any Specific Physical Requirements for the Job:
+ Lifting and/or carrying objects more than 50 pounds
+ Pushing and/or pulling non-motorized equipment weighing over 50 pounds
+ Stooping and bending
+ Reaching and grasping objects
+ Using a keyboard to interact with computer systems
+ Proofreading and/or reviewing documentsMinimum
Requirements:
+ Work requires a doctoral degree in internal or family medicine and a post-doctoral residency training program in Allergy and Clinical Immunology.
+ Work requires board certifications or eligibility in Internal Medicine and Allergy and Clinical Immunology
+ Work requires current, active licensure to practice medicine in all states, districts, and territories where work is to be performed, including but not limited to the State of Maryland, as well as current active licensure to prescribe medication (CDS, DEA) and up-to-date ACLS/BLS certification
Salary: 120,000-150,000

Salary Range
The referenced salary range represents the minimum and maximum salaries for this position and is based on Johns Hopkins University's good faith belief at the time of posting. Not all candidates will be eligible for the upper end of the salary range. The actual compensation offered to the selected candidate may vary and will ultimately depend on multiple factors, which may include the successful candidate's geographic location, skills, work experience, internal equity, market conditions, education/training and other factors, as reasonably determined by the University.

The following additional provisions may apply, depending upon campus. Your recruiter will advise accordingly. The pre-employment physical for positions in clinical areas, laboratories, working with research subjects, or involving community contact requires documentation of immune status against Rubella (German measles), Rubeola (Measles), Mumps, Varicella (chickenpox), Hepatitis B and documentation of having received the Tdap (Tetanus, diphtheria, pertussis) vaccination. This may include documentation of having two (2) MMR vaccines; two (2) Varicella vaccines; or antibody status to these diseases from laboratory testing. Blood tests for immunities to these diseases are ordinarily included in the pre-employment physical exam except for those employees who provide results of blood tests or immunization documentation from their own health care providers. Any vaccinations required for these diseases will be given at no cost in our Occupational Health office.
