**Job Overview** We are seeking a casual rehabilitation technician to work closely with the audiology assistant and support six audiologists at M Health Fairview Riverside Park Plaza Building! This position will be running hearing aids, recording and tracking earmold and hearing aid orders and other administrative tasks as needed. + FTE 0.01, causal position. + Schedule: Ideally 8-16 hours per week. + Preferred candidate will be an audiology graduate student. + Excellent opportunity to join the M Health Fairview Rehabilitation team! As an industry leader in rehabilitative care with nationally recognized programs, our therapists play a meaningful role in helping patients reach their goals and live more fulfilling lives. **Assess patient needs and identify patient abilities to participate in treatment each day** Implements assistance with care plan Communicates with the therapist recommendations/need for revision/update of plan of care as determined by physicians or nursing staff Coordinates care and communicate effectively with interdisciplinary team to achieve desire outcomes Under the direct supervision of the therapist, provides treatment interventions based on the patients plan of care **Assist with treatment interventions, including patient transfers, patient monitoring, and exercise monitoring as directed by the therapist** Coordinates care and communicate effectively with interdisciplinary team to achieve desired outcomes Identifies patient’s/family’s educational needs and communicates needs to the therapist Assists therapist with treatment equipment for use in patient treatment Prepares, maintains and cleans department/treatment areas in compliance with appropriate polices related to infection control, safety regulations and other established guidelines Completes cleaning per schedule and stocks supplies Completion of maintenance, temperature and safety checklist **Safely transports, transfers and/or escorts patients** Follows proper procedure when completing/assisting with patient transfers to insure safety of patient and self Uses appropriate and safe body mechanics Transports assigned patients in a safe and timely manner Demonstrates awareness of and follows departmental standards for productivity, charges, attendance and time management/prioritization **Participate in department/facility process/quality improvement initiatives** Complete scheduling functions as assigned Produces efficient and accurate schedules and associated reports Records and updates schedule changes accurate Communicate changes to all involved staff in a timely manner Participates actively in department problems solving, coordination patient schedule for multiple subject areas Seeks out solution to time issues directly through parties involved and other available resources **Required Education, Experience, & Licensing** Completion of 2 years towards Bachelor’s Degree in health/exercise related field Active Minnesota Basic Life Support Certification **Preferred Education & Experience** Audiology Graduate Student Bachelor’s Degree in health/exercise related field Healthcare experience with direct patient care **Benefit Overview** Although this is considered a non-benefit eligible position, Fairview offers employees the option to participate in the Fairview 403(b) plan, earn Sick and Safe Time, and early access to earned wages. **Compensation Disclaimer** An individual's pay rate within the posted range may be determined by various factors, including skills, knowledge, relevant education, experience, and market conditions.
