Overview The Role: CAT Data Visualisation & Dashboarding Specialist • This is a unique role where we are looking for a technical individual with Data Visualisation and Dashboarding experience to join our reinsurance business in order to create efficiencies, build tools, improve programming and support the business to manage its data intelligence through dashboards and visualization tools • The successful candidate will thus work as a technical specialist to develop portfolio exposure models, create analysis procedures and applies their knowledge to advance our CAT operations How you'll make an impact The skills and experience: • Enhance our data visualisation capabilities across the UK, with a particular focus on data pipelines and dashboarding. • The role takes responsibility for translating our analytics output into more visually compelling, interactive storyboards • Be responsible for connecting large datasets across the business (e.g. pulling in financial data / modelling data / WIN data / Lloyd’s data etc. into dynamic client dashboards). • Contributes to process improvements. • Managing products, systems and/or projects/processes • Facing function related problems that are sometimes difficult and moderately complex. • Coaching and reviewing the work of lower-level professionals. • Works to achieve operational targets with significant impact on function level results. • May be responsible for entire projects or processes within sub-function. • Often leads the work of small project teams; may formally train junior staff. • Uses best practices and knowledge of internal or external business issues to improve products/services or processes. • Typically resolves complex problems or problems where precedent may not exist. About You The requirements: • Dashboarding of Property Workbook including a review of data flows in and out • New vendor modelled output dashboard – summary dashboard that lets client/analyst drill into output, movement, account drivers, SK maps etc for gross modelling • Front end to PV database to allow broker access to benchmarking data dynamically. Also build out capability to kick off automated market and/or retro roll-up • Kinect front end • Dynamic risk/location profile tool which allows user to slice and dice data, adjust inuring QS %, adjust bandings, split by occ etc • Front end to SRCC aggregations/PML tool (based on work currently doing for Liberty) • Dashboard new data audit/quality tool developed for UKI • Front end for standardised benchmarking data that James F will pull together in new role Compensation and benefits On top of a competitive salary, great teams and exciting career opportunities, we also offer a wide range of benefits.
