**Job Overview**
The University of Dubuque is a growing faith-based University that is seeking a part-time **Catalyst for Theological Education in Dubuque.** This position is 29 hours per week and is grant-funded through the Lilly Endowment through 2026.
**Primary Responsibilities:**
+ Recruit graduate and enrichment students from the surrounding tri-state area for our year-round local learning community that gathers on Mondays in Dubuque, Iowa
+ Network and establish rapport with judicatory leaders and pastors in Waterloo, Iowa City, Cedar Rapids, and Quad Cities
+ Develop UDTS alumni in the region as partners in recruitment and referral
+ Contribute to the growth and diversification of the Dubuque learning community
+ Participate in monthly UDTS staff meetings, faculty/staff council, and the Admissions Task Force
+ Collaborate with other seminary programs and initiatives including Missio cohorts
+ Perform other duties as assigned in support of the University's _Mission_
**Qualifications:**
+ Existing networks and rapport among tri-state-area churches and Christian leaders
+ Excellent interpersonal skills, organizational skills, attention to detail, effective oral and written correspondence, and public relation skills
+ Passion for ecumenical community and collaboration
+ Ability to establish/maintain appropriate and effective communication and interpersonal relations throughout the campus, college, and the local community
+ Comfort and fluency in navigating different Christian traditions
+ Commitment to the goals and means of the "Being There" grant initiative
+ Ability to use discretion and confidentiality in department and University matters
+ Commitment to the mission of the University
+ Ability to travel multiple days per week within the area
+ MDiv or MA in other theological discipline (preferred)
