Job Title: Catalyst Technician

Job Description

Join our team as a Catalyst Technician, responsible for participating in rescue operations, operating and maintaining vehicles, and working in confined spaces under potentially hazardous conditions. You will ensure a clean working environment, report any unusual findings, adhere to Quality Assurance and Quality Control requirements, and assist in loading and unloading vessels.

ResponsibilitiesParticipate in all rescue operations.Work in immediately dangerous to life and health (IDLH) confined space entry conditions.Operate and maintain all company-owned or rented vehicles professionally.Maintain a clean environment and report unusual findings such as fused catalyst or hot spots to the Supervisor.Unload and load tubular vessels.Adhere to all Quality Assurance and Quality Control requirements.Load catalyst beds.Assist with cleaning and correctly loading equipment and trailers.Support Supervisors by keeping work areas clear and free of obstructions.Learn the proper function and usage of Life Support equipment and its safety factors.Wear Life Support equipment on non-inert confined space entries and gain experience in its usage and safety.Operate retrieval devices and multi-gas portable detectors.Monitor surroundings and dangers associated with entering confined spaces.Follow all Company Quality Control/Quality Assurance procedures and processes.Perform skills necessary for confined space entries (non-inert).Maintain poise and focus under time constraints and adverse conditions.Attend and complete required trainings.

Essential SkillsPossession of a TWIC card.Ability to travel as required.Must have a clean-shaven face.Maintain a DISA score of 2 or below.Comfortable working at heights.Ability to work in confined spaces.Willingness to work day or night shifts, which may change with each assignment.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20000.00 - $28000.00

Lots of hours, regular contracts, benefits (medical, dental, vision, 401K). Plenty of upward mobility, trades, and higher pay to get into.
