Our Opportunity:

Chewy is hiring a Category Analyst cohort to join our Pack on July 14, 2025 at our headquarters in Plantation, FL! Category Analysts are responsible for driving sales and profit growth, partnering with vendors for a specified category and driving negotiations through to completion. To be successful in this role, you will need to be intellectually curious, analytical, persuasive and creative.

What You'll Do:

Implement weekly/ad-hoc reporting with initial insights and analysisLead sales promotions, performance and recommendations for improvementDiscuss costs with vendors, address issues and identify required actions to resolveLead all aspects of daily price and profit marginIdentify and add new productsAnalyze weekly performance metricsAction category insights and opportunitiesIdentify best practices and improvements to positively impact the business and share with peers and future Category Analysts

 

What You'll Need:

Currently enrolled in accredited BS/BA degree program, with anticipated graduation date of Spring 2025Strong written and oral communication skillsDetail oriented and ability to succeed in an ambiguous environmentSolution oriented with an analytical approachExperience with ExcelAbility to travel up to 10% of the time

 

Bonus:

Internship experienceExperience with SQLForeign language proficiency – Spanish, Mandarin, CantoneseAbility to lead multiple projects through prioritization, planning and task delegationTrack record of taking ownership and driving results (projects, internships, or work experience)
