Category Consultant – Myopia Management – Norway

We’re looking for a Category Consultant (based in Norway) with focus on Myopia Management and our core products where you’ll be part of this growing global business, which means you’ll have bright opportunities to make a positive impact on our business and your career. This includes getting involvement in cutting edge new product development and international collaborations.

 

What will you be doing?

As a Category consultant with focus on Myopia Management you will have a strong focus on our key MiSight® 1day customers including all our other products and education. This is a role within a high potential segment for CooperVision and we are looking for someone who will be responsible for driving sales and establishing both within our core products, and within myopia management - MiSight contact lensesas a key product in the Norwegian market. You strive towards reaching sales targets by delivering first class support to customers. We need you to be experienced from the optical industry and qualified to practice optometry in Norway. Preferably you also have lots of experience in sales to the optical trade. You strive towards reaching sales targets by delivering first class support to customers and colleagues. You love to do presentations, trainings and workshops and quickly learn and adopt according to the ever- changing market demands. You’re dynamic and enjoy working cross functionally in an international environment with both strategic challenges as well as working hands on in store with key customers and key opinion leaders. 

 

You’ll be responsible for driving adoption and activation of MiSight and new products in optical practices and maximize the contact lens related opportunities by supporting and educating all functions in store. You’ll maximize the MiSight® 1 day opportunities through optometrists, sharing best practice and providing direction in establishing myopia management as a standard of care in practice.

 

In addition to the above duties, the Category Consultant Myopia Management Specialist demonstrates a high level of customer relationship management, business development, product and sales understanding, strategic planning, and coordination between accounts.

 This position requires great sales and communication skills to develop strong contact lens customers. 

 

To be a successful candidate you will need to have the following:

Great selling skills; influences sales process at expert level. Organizational skills for planning your customer meetings and follow up Enthusiastic, engaged, and supportive of all CooperVision initiatives Great communication skills,both verbally and written (Norwegian & English required) Minimum three-years’ experience in customer facingsales positions. Optical degree (optician/optometrist qualified to practice in Denmark) Business acumen, presentation, and communication skills Effectively identify, evaluate, and assimilate information to determine qualitydecisions. Ability to delivertraining and presentations to various sizedcustomer groups. Use of all Microsoft officesuite of tools 

 

You’ll need to be flexible, as the role requires frequent overnight travel both within Norway and Internationally. You will be attending meetings or trade fairswhich can fall at the weekend.
