Overview The Produce Category Coordinator supports the Produce Category Management Team for all assigned areas. This position will assist in the management of detailed pricing strategies while supporting weekly and seasonal promotional planning.  This role will work cross functionally with the Category Management, Replenishment, Data Integrity, Marketing, and Finance Teams in order to develop and track key department objectives and sales goals. This position drafts communications, creates reports, and coordinates special projects. Overview of Responsibilities Coordinates Category Management and retail merchandising efforts by assisting in developing plans and schematics that drive category growth while increasing sales. Maintenance of new and existing items that targets consumer trends while optimizing overall product assortment. Maintains and updates active assortment for National and Local teams Work with store level personnel/operations to resolve pricing, item, and supplier issues. Supports Local program execution in stores.  Supports category management with ad planning, including pricing and layout. Oversees the proofing and editing process for weekly ads. Assist Category Management on weekly promotional pricing for designated regions, markets, and/or stores. Supports on-boarding of New Vendors Reviews and updates imaging to support vehicles of digital Ads and Ecommerce. Create and update department operational standards and process maps. Ensures uniformity and consistency in all department documents and communications. Maintains a high level of store and product awareness through store visits as needed. Supports the overarching Sprouts marketing strategies Participate in meetings, workshops, conferences for the purpose of conveying and/or gathering information to perform functions Maintain Sprouts culture and a strong working relationship with vendors and co-workers.
