The Category Execution Sr. Manager role is responsible for:

Category Strategy Execution
Develops ideas for the delivery of exceptional category value to Pfizer stakeholders through the execution of global category strategiesLeads / Co-leads category execution plans that support the organization's strategic objectives and drive cost savings, process improvements, and innovationLeads / Co-leads end-to-end category initiatives of high or medium complexity (guidance for low-level initiatives)Engage with respective stakeholders and coordinate with category strategy team to act as the organization's execution armManage workflow management tools, intake requests segmentation and own end to end project trackingEnsure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements across all procurement activitiesRecognized as SME on the categories managed by staying abreast of market trends, industry best practices, and emerging technologies related to the categoriesSupports spend of ~1 Bn for multiple categories for Consulting & Professional ServicesSourcing Process Ownership
Lead / Co-lead the entire sourcing process from identifying suppliers, owning the implementation of new sourcing strategies, aligning with supplier and internal customer needs, including Baseline development, Requirements gathering, RFX development and execution, Bid and award recommendation analysis, Negotiation, Value estimationMonitor and report on progress against sourcing value execution plans, identifying and resolving issues and mitigating risksApplies advanced knowledge of market trends on new sourcing opportunities, industry best practices, and emerging technologies and innovations related to standard sourcing, contracting & savings processes in the category strategy executionLeads the eSourcing capability with standard global templates that can be leveraged regionallyWorks independently with internal leaders/stakeholders to ensure sourcing activities and outcomes align with category strategy & business needsDevelops strong relationships with key suppliers and negotiate favorable contractsLeads / Co-leads regular business reviews to track performance, identify areas for improvement, and ensure excellent value delivered to Pfizer in terms of cost savings, cost avoidance, cycle time to source spendContracting Process Ownership

The annual base salary for this position ranges from $105,500.00 to $175,900.00. In addition, this position is eligible for participation in Pfizer’s Global Performance Plan with a bonus target of 17.5% of the base salary and eligibility to participate in our share based long term incentive program.
