My Role:
Managing all aspects of offer acquisition processes, including negotiating purchase terms, service levels and supplier selection.Contract management and administration: Responsibility for all requests for interpretation of contracts, resolving situations in which commitments to clients have not been met, renewing and documenting any changes.Discussing and managing solutions: managing all formal disputes and driving Aptiv to right and fair solutions.Acquiring the best price, negotiating offers with the highest savings potential / cost avoidance.Negotiating contracts with suppliers to improve the overall cost.Defining and updating category strategies, communicating and implementing them.Identifying, implementing cost-improving initiatives.Following the SCM policy and procedures in Aptiv.Working with plants and suppliers in the event of delayed / missed service support - analysing the source of the cause and defining corrective actions.Establishing and controlling key performance indicators with selected suppliers.Understanding Aptiv quality requirements and informing suppliers about Aptiv standards.Preparing cost-saving workshops and supporting corrective actions.Analysing market, expenses and key suppliers within the managed category.Organizing meetings with suppliers and trade negotiations.Managing and approving purchasing projects (Ariba/Icertis sourcing).
BASIC REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent. 5 years+ of experience in Supply chain or Procurement, ideally within a high tech industrial environment (P).Fluency in English, Spanish.Experience in managing suppliers providing Professional Services and, Sub Categories include Recruitment, Training, Marketing, HR Benefits and Services, Payroll, Car Fleet, Corporate Cards, , Hotels, Relocation and Immigration (P).Experience in managing RFIS, RFPS, Contract Renewals.Experience in working with Vendor Management Systems (R), ideally SAP.Experience in Stakeholder Management (R).Used to working in a matrix organization with various functional stakeholders and on various Regions. (P)Able to work in stressful environment and capable of coping with tight deadlines. (R)Empowered decision maker/relationship-builder.(R)Ability to manage several tasks and deadlines with changing circumstances, priorities. (R)Technical/Commercial/Financialexpertise to operate knowledgeably and persuasively with suppliers, business line and engineering leadership.
