Category Leadership Analyst, Walmart
As an Analyst on our Category Leadership advisory team, reporting to a Category Leadership Manager, you will analyze and share data to support Category Leadership and Sales plans within our Frozen portfolio of brands. Project work may include analytics related to topline reporting, sales reviews, category line reviews, overall business trends, and merchandising, assortment, pricing, and shelving (MAPS). You will work with other Category Leadership team members, Sales, Strategy, and Insights and Analytics teams. Support category managers in developing proposals for distribution and shelving changes to buyers and customer leadership. Support buyers and supporting merchandising teams with ad hoc and store trait requests. You will have ownership of weekly reporting and support other team members during peak/relay times. **Your Impact:** + Create and maintain standardized reports for Category and Sales teams + Use syndicated data (ie. Circana) to understand category, brand, and item trends + Identify trend drivers and drags and make recommendations to improve performance + Build category reviews for customer presentations + Partner with Sales in the development of progressive selling decks + Develop proficiency in category leadership tools that support Merchandising, Assortment, Pricing, and Shelving (MAPS) + Recognize assortment voids and build plan to gain new/established distribution + Work to secure gold standard category shelving flows with optimal placement for our brands and items **Your Experience:** + Bachelor's degree required + 1+ years of consumer packaged goods (CPG) related experience in broker, sales support or related planning or analytical role + Data integration and interpretation experience + Experience managing large datasets and reporting in Excel (pivot tables, v lookup, formulas) + Fundamental knowledge of syndicated panel data + Knowledge of, or interest in learning, Circana, Nielsen and Space Management tools such as Blue Yonder Number of Days in Office: 3 Relocation assistance is available for this position. An employee’s actual annual salary will be based on but not limited to: location, relevant experience/level and skillset, while balancing internal Conagra employees’ equity.
