Right now, we need a Category Manager in San Antonio, TX to develop and implement the overall product strategy for select brands to deliver profitable growth. The Category Manager will collaborate with Sales and Marketing to create insight-based compelling presentations that highlight consumer behavior to drive placement and distribution of our brands and highlight opportunities.

What you'll do: 

Design and implement product strategies based on the brand story, consumer data, and trends. Develop presentations and other tools to enable clear, compelling selling stories for Sales team to present to the distribution network to drive product placement. Leverage syndicated and primary data analytics and insights to be a strong storyteller, presenter, and collaborator. Lead the category review process and presentations. Create, maintain, and publish category performance scorecards, including analysis of external and internal sales and profitability data to identify opportunities, gaps, best practices, competitive strategy, and product placement execution. Interpret, integrate, and communicate data from various sources into one cohesive message designed to revitalize and/or drive profitable growth. Attend in person to meeting’s monthly with Key National Retailers and Wholesalers 

 

What you'll need: 

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration or other related field Experience with Category Management in the CPG industry preferred Experience elevating syndicated data partnerships (Nielsen, IRI, Numerator) preferred Proficiency in Microsoft Office, PowerPoint, and Excel  Strong analytical skills, highly collaborative, strong written and oral communication  Certified Professional Category Manager (CPCM) (preferred)
