Category Manager for Technical Services
What do you contribute?
You carry out complex price and contract negotiations in the global business environment of Customer Service and the Rolling Stock of Siemens Mobility. Maintaining constant contact with your interface partners within the specialist departments as well as further developing your working environment are part of your tasks. You will be responsible for deriving and implementing procurement and purchasing strategies in your category. You are responsible for achieving the cost targets in your category through the effective use of different purchasing levers. You further develop existing suppliers and look for new suppliers in order to establish a high-performance overall portfolio. Additionally, you are responsible for adhering to rules and guidelines as well as compliance security in the procurement process. You act as the central contact person for the specialist departments and you manage the topics in your area of responsibility. Collaboration within the cross-location team rounds off your exciting area of responsibility.
What do you bring?
You have successfully completed a technical or commercial bachelor's degree. OR You have successfully completed technical or commercial vocational training with additional qualifications as a specialist, technician or have completed similar further training. You can look back on several years of professional experience in strategic purchasing. You have good negotiation and methodological skills as well as communication skills. You enjoy working with commitment, independence and reliability on sustainable and customer-oriented solutions. Your initiative, assertiveness and business fluent English skills, both spoken and written, round off your profile.Knowledge of the German language will be considered as an advantage.
