Is this the role for you?

The role is part of our consumer products department and is responsible for driving our growing toy business in the GSA region.

 

What will you be doing? Category Management: Manage day-to-day category operations, including partner management, contract status, and line lists for several categories e.g. toys and gifts & novelties amongst others. Deliver annual sales targets, Lead new contract negotiations improving commercial terms per agreement. Serve as primary driver to provide support, information, and materials for licensees, international and local, to improve development of new products and continued retail expansion of existing products. Track product performance and ensure licensees as well as internal stakeholders are up to date on all major retail initiatives. Assist in all quarterly forecasts and business reviews. Monitor sales results to ensure revenues meet budgetary goals. Work seamlessly with internal departments, such as the Paramount Creative Group, Franchise Marketing, Legal, International, Retail Marketing to drive the category business strategies across all franchises. Identify, develop, and complete new business initiatives in assigned categories. Retail Account Management: Build positive relationship with leading retailers to secure visibility and partner presence on shelves. Negotiate and assure implementation of franchise driven initiatives with core retail partners and agent partners (RTL). Build a long term strategic plan by retailer outlining overall revenue growth by franchise, buying department and territory. Establish regular cadence meetings/calls with buying teams and licensing central teams. Develop proactive ideas (across product development and marketing) that promote our brands and resonate with buying and central licensing teams. Ensure all work (including pitch decks, marketing collateral, creative responses to briefs) is to the standard and delivers against requirements.

 

What are we looking for? The ideal candidate will have 3+ years experience in the licensed goods, promotional, retail, manufacturing or distribution industries. Proficiency in German & English required. Have significant international experience contributing to a complex international consumer products or recreation business. Proven ability to navigate successfully in a fast paced, multi tasking and dynamic organization along with significant influence/negotiation skills with senior level executives. A highly developed skill at partnering with business clients at all levels and driving innovative ways of doing business. Exhibit strong analytical and problem solving skills and ability to prioritize and complete multiple priorities and assignments applying outstanding judgment, decision-making and problem solving skills in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Ability to rally within a remote global team and operate with passion and enthusiasm.
