What this position is about:
The position is responsible for providing strategic insights on all Tobacco categories (i.e. RMC, Fine Cut, HTP) based on retail audit data, as well as data analysis to support portfolio, brand, trade, and distribution strategies. He/she will manage retail audit projects and relationship with research agencies and will ensure in-time and quality delivery of all data sets/information for Romania, Moldova, and Bulgaria. Please note that this position does not have direct reports.
What will you do - Responsibilities:
Manage and ensure the accuracy of Retail Audit projects across Romania, Bulgaria, and Moldova. Analyze market and identify trends to generate actionable insights and support business information needs. Maintain strong relationships with research suppliers for timely, high-quality data delivery. Coordinate reporting with Global Business Center and manage retail audit data for all three markets. Support and enhance retail audit data reporting through internal tools and Nielsen Discover platform. Lead ad-hoc retail-related projects from briefing to reporting in each of all three markets.
Who are we looking for - Requirements:
University degree (required) in Mathematics, Statistics, or Economics. Minimum of 5 years of research experience within a research agency (preferably retail audit) or a similar role within a marketing research department in a FMCG company (experience with retail audit agencies). Strong background in data analysis (retail audit experience is a plus). Experience managing retail audit projects: briefing, fieldwork, data analysis, and reporting (consumer research projects is a plus) Strong ability to manage relationships with market research agencies, ensuring project objectives are met on time and within budget. Proficiency in at least one DB-specific software (e.g., SPSS); familiarity with Power BI is a plus. Strong analytical skills with the ability to work with large datasets and extract actionable insight
