Your New Role

As the result of increased demand for our services and company growth, we have exciting opportunities for Catering Assistants to join our professional Catering team, initially on a casual basis located at Brisbane Airport. Here at Gate Gourmet, we take extreme pride in the work we do. We have a unique service offering for our clients and work within the airline catering industry.

Your duties will include but are not limited to the following:

Portioning and packaging meals according to specificationsMeasuring quantities of food items according to specificationsGeneral kitchen duties as required

To be successful in this role, you must possess the following skills:

Attention to detail Ability to follow and adhere to processesSome experience in food preparation and handlingFamiliarity with food safety principlesWorking knowledge of OH&SAvailable to work a 7-day fixed roster (including public holidays, weekends, morning or afternoon shifts)
