Catering Assistant/Front of House Team Member l $15/hr. + DOE

Front of House – Mon-Fri 11a-8p

Catering Assistant – Hours will be vary based on catering schedule, weekends required when scheduled.

A local catering company in the Orange City, IA area is looking to hire a catering assistant/Front of House Team Member that serves as a partner with the catering manager. If you are a happy, positive, and dedicated person then this is the job for you. 

Responsibilities:

Sets up, serves, and cleans up at banquets, luncheons, coffees, etc. Interacts with guests at events with professionalism, service, and grace, upholding the customer service expectations. Ensures all catering dishes, utensils, and other equipment from the catering storeroom are clean and properly returned to their correct place after each event.  Greet customers at restaurant, provide excellent customer service, complete customer transactions. Reports to the catering manager customer feedback and any needed maintenance or catering supplies as needed. 

Requirements: 

Be able to lift 25 lbs. Be able to transport food, beverage and serving related items to serving tables or guest tables.  Be able to stand on one's feet for long periods of time, bending, stooping, and twisting.  Have 1 year minimum experience with food service and catering preferred. Possess a positive, can-do attitude. Work well with others. Be willing to engage actively in the physical work of a high quality hospitality service operation.
