Overview Job Summary: The Catering Coordinator plays a pivotal role in delivering exceptional dining experiences for events by managing all aspects of catering logistics. The position requires creativity, a strong attention to detail, proactive communication, and a passion for hospitality. Your focus will be on ensuring that catering services align perfectly with client expectations and contribute to the overall success of events. Job Specifications: Onsite: Black Desert Resort/Red Mountain Resort Shift & Schedule Availability: Year Round / Full Time Pay Range: $18.00/hr. This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors. Job Responsibilities (including but not limited to): Coordinate all aspects of catering services for various events, including corporate meetings, weddings, banquets, and social gatherings. Partner with event staff and vendors to deliver seamless catering experiences. Respond to catering sales leads and inquiries, ensuring prompt and professional communication with potential clients. Distribute marketing materials and collateral to clients and event planners, providing them with comprehensive information about our catering services. Handle incoming phone calls with a focus on exceptional customer service, addressing client needs and questions efficiently. Qualifications Preferred Qualifications and Skills: Minimum 1 year experience in catering coordination, preferably in the hospitality or hotel industry. Strong organizational and multitasking skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. A customer-oriented approach with excellent interpersonal skills. Delphi and/or Opera experience is a plus. Compensation Range The compensation for this position is $18.00/Hr. - $18.00/Hr. based on qualifications and experience.
