Omni Hotels & Resorts is seeking Catering Coordinator for the beautiful new Barton Creek Resort & Spa!

To provide administrative support to the Catering Sales Department. To support the Director of Sales and assigned Catering Sales Managers with day to day operations and to ensure communication in their absence.
Monday- Friday; 40 hr work week Responsibilities Daily monitor of lead inbox while assigning and distributing incoming leadsAnswer all incoming phone calls to sales office, take detailed inquiry leads and respond to inquiries by determining client’s needs and specifications for referral to the appropriate Catering Sales ManagerAssist Catering Sales Managers with work overflow by typing and distributing correspondence, including letters, emails, contracts, etc., ensuring that all correspondence is 100% accurate.Assist in the Catering Sales contract turnover process by ensuring all information is correctly entered into FDC and that it reflects the contractSet up site visit requests, internal events, guest room amenities, and custom orders for Catering Sales managers by coordinating client transportation, creating welcome cards, making reservations, ordering flowers or other custom requests, and any other requests from the sales manager or clientManage the distribution and tracking of banquet event orders, resumes, diagrams, pop ups, and revisionsWork closely with other operational departments to assist the Catering Sales Team in ensuring proper event execution via various tasksWork closely with the Market Research Coordinator (MRC) to monitor and audit the database of accounts, contacts, profiles, leads and activities to ensure that users adhere to established database standards and maintain database quality in all areas of the system in order to ensure consistent use and accurate reportingRuns various reportsMaintain department inventory of office suppliesComplete other duties as assigned by management Qualifications Previous experience as an administrative assistant is preferred. College degree preferred.Must be able to clearly and pleasantly communicate both verbally and in writing in English with guests, members, management, and co-workers, both in person and by telephoneMust be proficient in Microsoft OfficeMust demonstrate exceptional organizational skills
