PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Contacts customers face-to-face, by telephone and/or email, to confirm, coordinate, and update details for scheduled catering activities Details each group’s catering needs which may include but is not limited to: menu planning, meal time, and room set up Tracks all guarantees and deadlines based on contract Coordinates with the Executive Chef and Catering Manager to ensure specified arrangements are carried out as planned Completes projects as directed in relation to the area of responsibility Assists in the coordination of department members that may include, but is not limited to: Food Runners, Servers, Set Up Staff Responsible for implementing and maintaining excellent service to achieve guest satisfaction Assists management in communicating any changes or new policies and procedures to the department Any other duties as assignedQUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
Passion for hospitality, food, and client service Excellent verbal and written communication skills Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills Must be a problem solver, ready to come up with on-the-spot solutions for problems that may occur in the FOH, be self-motivated, and organized Computer skills a must and have a basic understanding of Microsoft Office with a focus on Excel. Familiar with sales systems such as Salesforce and Caterese Ability to work in standing position for long periods of time Be able to reach, bend, stoop, and frequently lift 35 pounds and occasionally lift/move up to 50 pounds
