Sodexo is seeking a Catering Manager for the University of Findlay located in Findlay, Ohio. Founded in 1882, the University of Findlay enrolls over 3,300 undergraduate and graduate students and offers more than 85 bachelor's degrees within six colleges. The University is a private higher education institution, located on a beautiful 96-acre main campus and has another 205-acres for two equestrian facilities in Findlay, Ohio.

 

The best qualified candidate will have the following:

Hands on Higher Education catering experienceStrong financial acumen Experience with both casual and fine dining catering/banquet managementKnowledge of ethnic culinary cuisine themesPrior high volume catering service experienceKnowledge of catering set up and executionExperience writing catering menusKnowledge coordinating and executing multiple events dailyExperience with labor controls, managing catering inventory and using catering softwareExcellent organization skills and attention to detailAn ability to transform spaces and create an experience for guests

Qualifications & Requirements

Basic Education Requirement - Associate's Degree or equivalent experience
Basic Management Experience - 2 years
Basic Functional Experience – 1 year work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.
