Sodexo's Campus Segment is seeking a hands on Catering Manager 3 for SUNY Oneonta located in Oneonta, NY. Our successful candidate will manage have previous Catering/Banquet management experience and will manage the day to day catering on campus, campus and conferences in the summer. This department serves High end plated service to high volume buffets. Reporting to the District Manager this leader will mentor, train and develop the service staff. Experience with mentoring and building cohesive teams is required.

 

This Catering Manager will focus on all main campus catering. Experience with excellent executive client relations, campus alumni relations, and the understanding of setting up buffets to high end service is the key to this manager's success.

Qualifications & Requirements

Minimum Education Requirement - Associate's Degree or equivalent experience
Minimum Management Experience - 2 years
Minimum Functional Experience – 1 year work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.
