General Description


The Catering Sales Associate’s primary function is to manage the order process from inquiry to shop execution. Responsibilities include processing third party orders, responding to web lead requests and creating quotes. CSA is also responsible for maintaining, updating sales/customer records in assigned databases and assisting with follow up on confirmed orders.


Responsibilities


Process quotes, orders, forms, and applications as needed for sales department.Manage customer inquiries both over the phone and by email as coverage is needed by field Sales Team & Department needs.Provide customers with product and service information.Manage existing customer information in salesforce (CRM Tool) & other systems as needed.Follow up on customer calls & emails where necessary.Perform Quarterly Bonus audits as assigned.Other Department project work & sales support as assigned.


Tourism & School Partnerships Responsibilities

Maintain Master Calendars for 3rd Party School Partnerships & Tour Partnerships.Works as a “Tour Specialist” that supports our Ops partners & clients during this busy season for Potbelly with both Tour catering orders & Dine-In Groups in select Markets.Confirm & work directly with our large Tour Partnerships (Worldstrides, EF Tour America, World Classrooms, etc.)Process and Confirm tour orders for DC/ Chicago/ Virginia/ NYC Markets with Ops partners.Maintain sales data & assist with payment reconciliation for our school partnerships.

Will frequently sit for extended periods of time during the work hours.


EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION, AND BEHAVIORS


Must represent Potbelly Advantage and Our Values.High school diploma or equivalent.Customer service experience.Minimum 2-3 years in order entry for multi-unit operations.Must have flexible scheduling availability.Experience in a call center and knowledge of call center telephony and technology.Knowledge of and proficiency in Microsoft Office products.Knowledge of Salesforce.com, preferred.Strong data entry and typing skills.Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast paced, rapidly growing environment.Must be organized; proactive; and possess strong sense of urgency and professional demeanor.Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
