Catering Sales Manager

The Catering Sales Manager is responsible for meeting or exceeding catering sales targets in their assigned market/s. They execute the catering sales team plan within their assigned territory to grow catering. They also partner with operators to move the catering business forward and maximize sales opportunities.

Responsibilities

Meets or exceeds sales targets by executing a well-planned catering sales strategy with the guidance of their National Catering Business Development Manager.Works strategically and uses all resources available to pursue significant catering sales opportunities for B2B and B2C clients.Uses the CRM tool daily to record all guest interactions, sales efforts, and plan future outreach opportunities.Well-rounded sales approach split between farming and hunting.Utilizes CRM to uncover repeat business, and Zoominfo/LinkedIn for cold prospecting.Develops existing business by pulling daily reports from the database to uncover additional sales opportunities.Executes required sales activities to ensure Catering’s sales plan success in their assigned region.Follows up daily on all leads and pending orders/quotes.Follows up on orders to ensure client satisfaction has been met, manage client recovery when necessary, and prospect for future sales opportunities.Anticipates client needs, offering menu selection and recommendations as needed.Consistently asks fact-finding questions during all client interactions to uncover additional sales and National Account opportunities.Maintains an active pipeline of prospects that is aligned with regional sales targets.Appropriately uses company resources with the guidance and approval of the National Catering Business Development Manager.Develops and maintains a strong partnership with all Market Partners in their region to consistently improve order execution and to maximize sales growth opportunities in the field. Completes weekly status report to share regional wins, opportunities, and strategies.Sends monthly catering updates to the operations team and holds quarterly regional calls with assigned Market Partners to review catering initiatives and drive revenue.Completes additional tasks/responsibilities as needed to move the catering department forward. 

Other Job Functions

Attends and participate in team meetings, which may require travel.Available to work a flexible work schedule that could include weekends and evenings.Travel up to 10% of the time.

Skills and Abilities Required

Bachelor’s degree preferred.Minimum of one-year B2B remote sales and account management skills within the food & beverage industry required.  Preference towards greater experience. Is a team player- acts with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality. Strong organizational and time management skills. Able to maintain an organized weekly, monthly, and quarterly calendar that aligns with business needs.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Self-motivated. Thrives in a remote working environment.Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.Ability to successfully work with cross-functional teams.Comfortable and experienced with developing and executing virtual presentations.Adaptable and able to work in a rapidly changing environment and industry.Proficient Microsoft Office user. Able to easily navigate Outlook, Excel, and Word.

Remote Home OfficeEquipment: Computer provided.  Cell phone required. Must be able to sit or stand for prolonged periods of time

Compensation Range: $56,500.00 - $69,625.00
