Catering Sales Manager - Anaheim Convention Center
**Job Description** The Catering Sales Manager, Anaheim Convention Center, is responsible for coordinating food and beverage arrangements for group meetings and special events. This position is base salary and eligible for a local bonus, contingent on meeting metrics. ? They will support the catering functions with building operations, culinary department, and catering department along with the building sales team charged with revenue growth. ? This role will book and detail events for the location while networking for new sales opportunities, conduct sales blitz and other marketing efforts to support sales growth. COMPENSATION: The salary range for this position ranges from $70,000 to $73,000, depending on circumstances including an applicant?s skills and qualifications, certain degrees and certifications, prior job experience, market data, and other relevant factors. Additional compensation may include a bonus or commission (if relevant). This is Aramark?s good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of compensation for this position as of the time of posting. Greets and services all clients/groups to ensure satisfaction. ? Follows up with all clients through phone calls, letters, and site tours to secure contracts and ensure customer happiness. ? Inputs data to generate contracts, update client files, and enter information into sales software. ? Participates in special projects as needed. ? Proactively soliciting and managing group/catering related opportunities with significant revenue potential. ? Creates Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) to review with clients. ? Partners with the culinary team to create customized menus to fit client?s needs increase food & beverage revenues. ? During event, will ensure the meeting arrangements are to the event planner?s specifications. ? Communicates and collaborates with other departments to provide quality services for all groups. ? Attends weekly meetings for aging/billing, business review, and sales meetings. ? Follows Aramark policies and procedures and safety and sanitation policies and procedures. Minimum of 3-5 years previous experience in Hotel Catering Sales or related field. ? Requires a bachelor?s degree or equivalent experience in sales, marketing or related field ? Possesses strong organization skills, strong interpersonal skills, the ability to maintain composure, and the ability to make quick decisions. ? Requires effective written and verbal communication skills. ?
