As Catering Supervisor, you will work under the direction of the department manager to ensure effective operations of all event spaces, including training and supervision of catering team members. Responsibilities Train and supervise catering team membersEnsure all food preparations, presentations, and service meet company standardsEnsure responsible alcohol service and report any violationsAnswer guest questions and resolve guest complaintsEnsure all workstations, pantries, and storerooms remain clean and sufficiently stockedQualifications Minimum of six months' experience in hotel, full-service restaurant, catering facility, or club environment requiredDetail-oriented with strong organizational and leadership skillsAbility to work accurately, efficiently, and courteously in a high-pressure environmentAbility to effectively communicate with guests, and retain and communicate menu information and service preferencesBasic math skills to accurately account for cash and inventoryNo college degree requiredPhysical Requirements Ability to lift up to 50 pounds for set-up, service, and clean upAbility to stand and walk for the entire length of shift, including walking up and down stairs and lifting as the work duties demandVariable temperatures – required to move between hot, noisy conditions of kitchen and climate-controlled dining environmentMay be required to work in confined and/or narrow spacesShift Details
