Job Summary CulinArt Group - a member of Compass Group USA is seeking an outstanding and hands-on Catering Supervisor to coordinate our dedicated team at Central Penn College in Summerdale/Enola, PA. This role offers an outstanding opportunity to run aspects of a small yet dynamic food outlet, serving approximately 150-200 students daily with breakfast, lunch, and dinner. This position also involves managing separate buffet-style catering services. You will be working closely with two skilled cooks, making it a close-knit team of three, passionate about delivering flawless service and client happiness. As a Catering Supervisor, you will have a significant impact on the success of our catering operations. Your responsibilities will include: Essential Duties and Responsibilities: + You will ensure proper service during catering events, including proper set-up, cleaning, and breakdown procedures. + Work alongside a small team to successfully execute events, meeting expected service and quality standards. + Responsible for set-ups for regular and special events. + Ensures client and customer satisfaction. + Assists in staging catering equipment and beverages for daily events. + Breaks down events and returns venue to its original condition by removing all food, beverages, equipment, and garbage. + Maintains a clear understanding of all aspects of VIP services. + Maintains QA/HAACP standards and procedures. + Maintains a clean and safe work environment; performs job safely. + The typical work schedule for this role is flexible and depends on the catering events. While most weekends are free, some weekend work is required for events. Qualifications: + 2 years of hands-on food service experience, preferably in a catering role. + Experience in catering events and working with event orders is required. + Experience in restaurants, hotels, corporate dining, education, military, health care, and/ or related food service operations. + Experience in supervising and training associates and temporary personnel is preferred. + Computer skills and knowledge of MS Office products, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Internet.
