JOB PURPOSE:
Oversee and coordinate all daily operational duties within the Catering Division with the highest standards of quality, guest service and sanitation. Follow Catering budgets pertaining to labor, food cost and operating expenses to achieve company goals.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Maintain the highest standards of quality in product and services on a consistent basis Prepare schedule for all Catering Team Members and input into Timekeeping system Coordinate with Scheduling Supervisor on the hiring and placement of personnel/scheduling Communicate with Scheduling Supervisor to blend Catering Staff into the Midway Keep in communication with all Catering Team Members as to event service times, needs, flow, menu to ensure execution between production and service Keep good relations with Group Sales, keeping them informed of event concerns, changes, and event guest counts Responsible for weekly inventory, product forecasting sheets and event ordering Keep accurate files with event statistics, product usage, and event comment sheets Train and coach Catering Team Members Responsible for seeing that all team members are in proper uniforms and meet the park grooming codes. Assist with picnic setup, meal service, beverage service, picnic clean up and with the cleaning of picnic tables and debris under the picnic pavilions Ensure beverage and food service starts at the proper times and end at proper times Monitor food equipment to ensure proper operation and maintenance. Ensure all food and beverage serving lines and prep areas are clean and sanitary Ensure all team members breaks are coordinated each day Ensure that opening and closing checklists are completed on a daily basis Ensure proper PPE is worn at all times Ensure temperate logs are being filled out every two hours Assure that all problems are resolved quickly, log and report necessary complaints to the Food and Beverage Manager Promote a positive work environment Practice safety methods, and techniques to ensure work areas are safe. Eliminate unsafe physical conditions, equipment, and machine hazards, and other risks in human and operational performance which may cause injury to persons, damage to property, or cause other losses. Follow and enforce all Six Flags Darien Lake, state, and federal labor laws and policies and procedures. Maintain sanitation, cleanliness, safety and food standards in compliance with health department, legal and company standards/guidelines, and ensure adherence by all team members Responsible for making sure all team members comply with the company values and are completing our mission. Ensure that any team member that is injured reports the injury to First Aid immediately.

Food Safety course is a plus Friendly Guest Focused Self-starter, Team Player Trustworthy Good Communication Skills Goal Oriented Detail oriented Knowledge of NYS Labor Laws
OTHER FUNCTIONS:
Any and all other duties that are assigned or necessary in order to support the IPS Department and the park as a whole.
