Responsibilities
Position Summary:
This position is responsible for the operating room front desk duties including inputting charges; scheduling the cases, communication duties associated with the Cath Lab schedule and supply requisition, assisting the Buyer with inventory procurement, rectifying invoices, and maintaining par levels. Works with staff, physicians, and physician offices to insure that patients are served in the mosttimely and efficient manner possible. The position covers the desk and deals directly with the offices in regards to the daily schedule and availability of supplies. Responsible for producing and distributing reports and schedules as requested and in a timely fashion. Performs other tasks in order to help Cath Lab run efficiently as assigned. Incumbents in this position shall comply with all applicable laws and rules including the Dignity Health Standards of Conduct and Dignity Health policies and procedures that apply to his/her job responsibilities, seek guidance when in doubt, promptly report any potential or suspected violation of Dignity Health Standards of Conduct, Dignity Health policy or procedure or applicable laws/regulations and when requested, assist Dignity Health personnel in investigating all allegations of violation. When called upon, the incumbent shall assist in risk evaluation and work collaboratively with facility/entity leaders to implement, monitor and mitigate risk corrective plans outlined by the Compliance program.
Qualifications
Minimum:
Two (2) years of experience general secretarial or reception experience.High school diploma or equivalentPreferred:
Hospital experience and scheduling is preferred
