Regional Float PositionRadiologic Technologists are welcome to applyFull Time OpportunitySchedule is Monday - Friday 7:30am - 4pm, weekends on callCross Training OpportunitiesEssential Key Job ResponsibilitiesThis position is a floating Invasive Technologist to hospital locations in OmahaAssists with pre-procedure education and preparing patient for procedureScrubs and assists physicians during procedures Performs arterial and/or venous sheath removal utilizing deployment of closure devices, manual pressure, or mechanical compression and transport patientsParticipation in the after-hours on-call rotation is required and staff must be able to respond within 30 minutes of notification
Qualifications

Licensure & Certifications

Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) credential from CCI. New graduates are eligible for hire and must obtain credentials within 6 months of start date

and / or 

Radiology Technologist Degree with an ARRT certificationBLS from the American Heart Association required upon hireAHA Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Training

Knowledge of radiographic views and equipment  Knowledge of EKG rhythms and abnormalitiesKnowledge of cardiac and vascular anatomyKnowledge of appropriate sterile field management and aseptic techniquesKnowledge of a wide range of invasive procedure supplies and equipment including but not limited to guidewires, sheaths, stents, catheters, and balloons
