Dallas Regional Medical Center is actively seeking full time, day shift Cath Lab (RN) to join its award-winning Cardiac Cath Lab team.  The Cath Lab Charge Nurse directly communicates with all staff along with the Supervisor of the department. Here are some Charge Nurse qualities we're looking for on our Cath Lab team:

responsible and accountable for the quality of staff and functions during their shiftassists the Department Supervisor in the daily operation of the unit, directing and evaluating personnel, ensuring the proper use of time, equipment and staffensure the efficient functions of the departmentprovides direct patient care to adult and geriatric patient populationsaddresses the psychosocial, physical and general aspects of care related to the surgical environmentcommunicates with physician continuously and as needed about patient conditionassists with the maintenance of equipment and inventoryassesses procedure room or equipment functioning and readinessobtains supplies for individual cases and ensures all appropriate needs of the Cardiovascular Laboratory team are metmonitors physiologic and hemodynamic data, as related to diagnostic and/or therapeutic procedures performed in the cardiovascular labmonitors and records patients’ condition continuously while in the Cardiovascular labparticipates in performance improvement and continuous quality improvement activities Qualifications Bachelor Degree in Nursing (BSN); preferred.Active state Registered Nursing (RN) License; required.Current BCLS (AHA), ACLS certificate upon hire and maintain current; required.One (1) year clinical experience in a Cardiovascular Lab doing cardiac work or in a Critical Care area; requiredCath Lab expeience; required
