As a Bankruptcy Service Associate within Global Practice Leadership, you will be responsible for managing and supporting clients through the bankruptcy process. This role involves extensive client interaction, document preparation, account maintenance and coordination with legal and financial professionals.
Job Responsibilities
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients undergoing bankruptcy by providing service support by addressing client inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally Prepare and review bankruptcy maintenance requests and other required documents ensuring all documentation is accurate, complete and submitted in a timely manner Communicate with clients, attorneys, creditors, and court officials to gather necessary information and provide updates on case status as well as facilitate communication between clients and other stakeholders to ensure a smooth process Anticipate potential risk and handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion and integrity Support Commercial Banking and Commercial Investment Bank including U.S. Domestic & International Branches Focus on client and firm protection from unauthorized requestsRequired qualifications, skills and capabilities
Minimum of 5 years of experience in customer service, legal or financial services Strong organizational and time management skills to handle multiple tasks and deadlines efficiently Excellent written and verbal communication skills to interact effectively with clients, attorneys, creditors, and court officials High level of accuracy and attention to detail in preparing and reviewing documents Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and familiarity with database management Willingness to stay informed about changes in bankruptcy laws and regulations to ensure compliance Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically Compassionate and patient demeanor to support clients through challenging financial situations Proactive and self-motivated with a commitment to continuous learning and improvementPreferred qualifications, skills and capabilities
