Job Description:
Full Time 40 weekly hours, day shift
Job Summary:
Primary role is to coordinate patients for all scheduled visits in the oncology departments and communicate the process of navigating through these visits. PAC’s will verify all needed demographic and insurance information, and update consents and required hospital forms.
• Greet patients in a positive and welcoming manner
• Check for proper registration in EPIC
• Print ID bracelet and place on each patient while verifying date of birth and patient name. Check in all
appropriate appointments.
• Communicate with patient what they are scheduled for and where they need to go throughout the
office during their appointment
• Verify all demographics and insurance information and update when needed scan into EPIC while
patient is at your workstation
• Collect monthly forms: Conditions of Admission, Medicare co-ins form and Hospital Billing Notice.
MSP and BH-Verbal Consent when needed. Obtain self-pay form if patient has no insurance.
• Ensure all forms are signed by patients.
• Oversee the master schedule and greet non patients.
Minimum Education, Experience, Training and Licensures Required:
High school diploma or equivalent
Computer skills required
Registration Experience Preferred
